Ingent Nodes are open source based and can solve any office functionality your company requires.

Those are the first set of nodes that we provide to our customers. The Ingent Nodes are open source so they can be adapted to the business needs achieving a high degree of satisfaction for a minimum cost.

Arxiver¶

Ingent Arxiver is an ideal office solution for the small and medium enterprise.

It is a set of integrated open source applications with a monitoring service and maintenance that allow the sharing of files and printers in a local network.

Arxiver consolidates all the documentary information of the company in a trustworthy file server:

• It organizes all the printers in network resources.
• It protects and files his data with automatic backups.

Our control and maintenance service reports and solves any incidence for you to be well calm: our technical attendance guarantees integral maintenance of the service.

Email Server¶

Professional messaging at your fingertips.

It is a set of software applications and an integrated self-service monitoring and maintenance which enables the sending, receiving and managing mail.

The corporate mail server allows you to have a quicker access to mail, unlimited domains or accounts The following describes the functionalities of the corporate mail server:

• Server based on open standards that allows sending email messages without limitation using SMTP (Simple Message Transfer Protocol) and integration with any mail client through POP3 and IMAP4.
• Anti-spam filtering system. It includes a program for filtering junk that acts directly on the headers of messages based on some parameters. Headers, once modified, allow mailbox users route messages to different locations or delete them through filtering rules of the email client.
• Integration with antivirus ClamAV. ClamAV is an anti-virus filter for UNIX systems under the GPL (General Public License) with automatic updating of databases of viruses via the Internet.
• Secondary backup server, housed in Ingent. Ingent Servers ensure that your e-mail server does not reject messages even if you do not have Internet access.
• The server consolidates emails thanks to the automatic backups.
• The statistics service allows you to know the use of the corporate email.

The messaging tool integrates professional work grup Open-Xchange. Open-Xchange enables users to share with other tasks, contacts and calendars. With access from any Web browser, Open-Xchange enables you to manage e-mail, tasks, contacts and calendars from any workstation. It also allows integration with Apple iCal, Mozilla and MS Outlook (via Outlook Extender, form of payment).

The Porter ensures your internal systems and rationalize the use of resources of the Internet company providing perimeter security mechanisms.

It is a set of integrated open source applications, audit and security services and a monitoring and maintenance service that leverages the safety of your network environment.

The Porter is a solution based on open standards that integrates firewall, proxy, traffic control, navigation control, intrusion detection system and usage statistics. Everything is managed from a single web interface.

These are the most important features of Porter:

• High-performance Linux-based firewall
• Allows access to the workstations from anywhere on the Internet safely by using virtual private networks (VPNs), links SSH and VNC on SSH.
• Allows delegations connect through a virtual private network (VPN).
• Intrusion Detection System (IDS) that examines traffic to detect attacks. This is a second layer of security that can detect attempts to attack even without success.
• DNS server that acts as a DNS cache, thereby reducing traffic and increasing the speed Internet name resolution that moves in an increase in the speed of navigation.
• Proxy Server speeding up Internet surfing through the functionality of cache contents
• You can set the firewall as a transparent proxy, so that all Internet traffic will be processed by the proxy without having to configure workstations.
• It allows a system to integrate content filtering, prioritizing traffic, block access to sites or block traffic services like MSN, Yahoo IM, and so on.
• Allows Network Time Protocol servers schedules, the same way that also allows act as a time server for workstations.
